Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manager of Infrastructure to oversee the operations, maintenance, and project work related to our data centre infrastructure. This role is crucial for delivering 100% uptime of DC power and UPS power while adhering to approved operational and capital expenditure plans.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of operations and maintenance to ensure 100% uptime of DC power and UPS power for all electronic equipment.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Coordinate with infrastructure AMC vendors for timely maintenance and support, ensuring high service quality.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of electrical and air conditioning systems from both operational and project perspectives in a data centre environment.
• Act as a quick decision-maker in emergencies to minimize risks and ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Prepare and maintain various Management Information Systems (MIS) and reports using MS Office and relevant software.
• Read and interpret electrical and civil drawings to facilitate project management and effective vendor coordination.

Skills required

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in data centre or MSC infrastructure operations.
• 4-year full-time degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed engineering college (preferred but not mandatory).
• 8-10 years of experience managing infrastructure operations in large industries or telecom MSCs.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and air conditioning operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and quick decision-making skills in high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in MS Office and other computer tools for report preparation and data management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and civil engineering drawings.
• Strong vendor coordination and communication skills.
